Rafael Leao speaks on transfer: A message of departure from Milan
Milan star Rafael Leao, who has been on the transfer agenda of Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray, has made notable comments regarding his future.
Portuguese footballer Rafael Leao, who plays for Milan and has recently been linked with Süper Lig giants, made striking statements regarding transfer rumors and his own goals. Leao, who participated in the World Cup with the Portuguese national team, has not yet joined the pre-season training camp.
Speaking as a guest on a Brazil-based YouTube program called PodPah, the 27-year-old winger reiterated his previous statements about his desire to play for another team in the future. Leao did not give a clear date for a departure but also emphasized his commitment to Milan.
"I have spoken with the club about the possibility of a new experience in my career. I don't know if that will happen; I have to go there (to Milan) on the 29th, and as long as I am there, I will always give my best, respecting the jersey that has given me everything," he stated.
The experienced player also added, "They have helped me a lot in every aspect, but in life, we have goals for other things as well, and if that happens, I will evaluate the options, but I am still a Milan player."
It is known that 27-year-old Leao's contract with Milan runs until 2028. His current market value is estimated at approximately 50 million Euros.
