One of the surprises of the night took place at the Etihad Stadium, where Manchester City lost 2-0 to German side Bayer Leverkusen. Azerbaijani club Qarabag, which had drawn attention by collecting 7 points in their first 4 Champions League matches, was defeated 2-0 away at Napoli.
