TFF releases VAR records for Week 10 of the Süper Lig
The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has released the VAR records for the matches played in the 10th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig.
The TFF has shared the audio and video recordings of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) for 2 matches played in the 10th week of the Süper Lig on its YouTube account. The matches and decisions included in the video are as follows:
- In the 25th minute of the Kasımpaşa - Samsunspor match, following a corner kick taken by the visiting team, referee Çağdaş Altay went to the monitor for a potential penalty review upon a VAR alert. After reviewing the incident, Altay determined that Opoku had touched the ball with his hand in front of the goal, returned to the pitch, and pointed to the penalty spot.
- In the 55th minute of the Başakşehir - Eyüpspor match, during an attack by the home team, Crespo fell to the ground after contact from Claro during his shot inside the penalty area. Referee Abdullah Buğra Taşkınsoy, who went to the monitor to review the incident following a VAR alert, pointed to the penalty spot in favor of Başakşehir due to an uncontrolled challenge.
