TFF releases VAR records for Week 13 of the Süper Lig

The TFF has shared the audio and video recordings of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) reviews for 5 matches played in the 13th week of the Süper Lig on its YouTube account. The matches and decisions included in the video are as follows:

In the 35th minute of the Kayserispor - Gaziantep FK match, Gaziantep players appealed for a penalty during an attack by the visiting team, but referee Mehmet Türkmen signaled for a goal kick, indicating no penalty. While the VAR suggested a 'potential penalty review,' Türkmen went to the monitor. As Mehmet Türkmen watched the incident, he commented on Bennasser's sliding challenge on Camara, stating, "The defender's contact, I will start with a penalty."

In the 90+2nd minute of the Galatasaray - Gençlerbirliği match, the VAR suggested an 'on-field review for a potential red card.' Referee Ozan Ergün watched the incident between Roland Sallai and Zuzek. Stating that he saw the point of contact, Ergün returned to the pitch and showed a red card to Sallai for violent conduct.

In the 71st minute of the Başakşehir - Trabzonspor match, referee Meler once again received an on-field review suggestion for a potential penalty. Determining that Kemen handled the ball in the penalty area during an attack by the visitors, referee Meler returned to the pitch and pointed to the penalty spot.
