With this win, Turkey began the World Championship with a triumph. The national team, which is in Group E, will face Bulgaria and Canada in the other matches of the group stage. TURKEY IN THE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE 6TH TIME
The Women's National Volleyball Team, which first participated in the Women's World Volleyball Championship in 2006, is taking part in the organization for the sixth time this year. The national team, which placed 10th in 2006, increased its success in the following years and finished 6th in 2010. They completed the championship in 9th place in 2014, 10th in 2018, and 8th in 2022.
