Turkey's FIFA ranking after the World Cup has been announced

Spain reached the championship by defeating Argentina 1-0 in the 2026 FIFA World Cup final with a goal scored in extra time.

Following the conclusion of the tournament, the FIFA rankings have been updated. Spain, which was in 3rd place last month, took the lead from Argentina with 1995.88 points and settled at the top.

Argentina, which appeared in two consecutive finals, increased its points to 1970.37 and took second place. Norway, which drew attention by playing in the quarterfinals of this tournament, climbed 12 spots and settled into 19th place. Mexico, one of the host countries of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which was eliminated in the round of 16, managed to enter the top 10 by climbing 4 spots. Germany, which said goodbye to the cup early by being eliminated by Paraguay in the round of 32, fell to 12th place.

Turkey, which was eliminated in the group stage and fell 10 spots in the FIFA rankings to 32nd place, finished the tournament in 27th place.
