Fight that started in an online game ends in horror: High school student kidnapped, beaten, and recorded in Adana

The dispute between high school student R.G. (17), who lives in the Gülpınar neighborhood of Adana's central Seyhan district, and M.T.A. (19), whom he had met some time ago through an online game, turned into a face-to-face meeting days later. It is alleged that after insults exchanged during the game increased tensions, M.T.A. called R.G. out under the pretext of getting something to eat.

On December 29, R.G. went to a shopping center on Dr. Ali Menteşoğlu Street in the Kuruköprü neighborhood, where he met M.T.A. and H.A.D. (17), who was with him. As the argument flared up again, R.G. was forced into a taxi driven by Y.A. (22) and taken away from the area.

The teenager was taken to a vacant lot by vehicle, where he was beaten with slaps and punches by H.A.D., who was in the back seat. M.T.A., who was in the front seat, recorded the incident with a mobile phone camera. The footage shows R.G. crying and apologizing.

After being released, R.G. ran away and told his family what he had experienced. Following the complaint, teams from the Seyhan District Police Department took action and conducted an operation at the suspects' addresses. The three individuals taken into custody stated in their testimonies that they regretted their actions and were arrested by the court after being referred to the courthouse.
