One person killed in restaurant attack in Bodrum! Attacker who fled by motorcycle is being sought

In the Bodrum district of Muğla, 28-year-old Muhammer Bilik, who was eating at a restaurant, lost his life as a result of an armed attack. Police have launched an operation to capture the fleeing attacker.

SHOT WHILE RETURNING TO HIS TABLE

The attack occurred during the night at a restaurant on the beach in Bodrum's Bitez neighborhood. Muhammer Bilik, who was dining with three people, left the table to go to the restroom. As Bilik was heading back to his table, he was subjected to an armed attack by an unidentified person.

It was learned that the attacker fired at Bilik from behind, fled into a side street, and then got on his motorcycle to leave the area. Citizens in the vicinity fled in panic upon hearing the gunshots.

LOST HIS LIFE, INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED

Upon notification, 112 Emergency Health and police teams were dispatched to the area. Checks by medical teams determined that Muhammer Bilik had lost his life.

While police teams have launched an operation to capture the fleeing suspect, the Bodrum Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has opened an investigation into the incident.

ALLEGED TO HAVE SEARCHED FOR BILIK BEFORE THE ATTACK

On the other hand, it was learned that the attacker had entered various businesses on the Bitez beach to search for Muhammer Bilik before carrying out the armed attack.
