High price debates, which occasionally surface in tourism regions, have now been joined by a toilet usage fee. Footage filmed at a business in the Akyaka neighborhood of Muğla's Ula district has caused a widespread stir on social media.

The warning sign hung at the entrance of the business's restroom stated, "Toilet use for non-customers is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. Usage fee: '500 TL'."

DIALOGUE IN THE FOOTAGE DREW ATTENTION

The conversation between the individuals recording the sign with a mobile phone camera was also captured in the video. Upon the person filming saying, "If you're not a customer, you pay 500 liras," the woman next to them laughed and replied, "Will you pay 500 liras? Lend me 500, I'm going in."


The note added to the video, "The business that put an end to price hikes," was also one of the details that drew attention on social media.
