Road traffic data for 2025 has revealed the growth in transportation. According to a written statement made by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, a total of 1 billion 122 million 336 thousand 942 vehicles passed through various highways and bridges throughout the last year.

While providing information about the mobility on public-run highways and projects operated under public-private partnership (PPP), Minister Uraloğlu emphasized that both state-managed roads and new-generation investment projects were used intensively.

It was stated that 585 million 906 thousand 492 vehicles passed through the Mahmutbey-Edirne, Istanbul-Ankara, Adana, Mersin, Çeşme-Izmir-Aydın highways, as well as the 15 July Martyrs Bridge and the Fatih Sultan Mehmet Bridge, which are operated under public management, throughout 2025.

On the other hand, a total of 536 million 430 thousand 450 vehicles passed through the Northern Marmara, Malkara-Çanakkale, Istanbul-Izmir, Ankara-Niğde, Menemen-Aliağa-Çandarlı, and Aydın-Denizli highways, as well as the Yavuz Sultan Selim, Osmangazi, and 1915 Çanakkale bridges, which were built through private sector partnerships.

Minister Uraloğlu stated, "In 2025, there was a total of 1 billion 122 million 336 thousand 942 vehicle crossings on highways and bridges."
