A 65-year-old woman living in the Besni district of Adıyaman, who wished to remain anonymous, found an unattended bag at the entrance of an apartment building in Erdemoğlu Neighborhood. Upon checking the bag and seeing that it contained a large amount of gold and jewelry, she reported the situation to the police.
THE BAG WAS RECEIVED WITH AN OFFICIAL REPORT
Police teams arriving at the address upon the notification took delivery of the bag in exchange for an official report. It was determined that the bag contained 10 full gold coins, 4 half gold coins, 53 quarter gold coins, 21 bracelets, 1 chain necklace, 1 tughra necklace, 1 engagement bracelet, 4 pairs of earrings, and 1 wristwatch.
The gold and jewelry, worth approximately 6.5 million TL, were taken to the police station for the necessary procedures.
OWNER IDENTIFIED IN A SHORT TIME
As a result of the work carried out by the police teams, the owner of the bag was reached. The bag and the jewelry inside were delivered to the citizen, whose identity was kept confidential.
