Statement from the Governor's Office regarding the forest fire in Çanakkale
The forest fire that broke out in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale has been brought under control following the intervention of the teams.
A fire broke out in a forested area near the Bayramiç Dam, in the vicinity of Üzümlü Village in the Bayramiç district of Çanakkale, at 00:29.
The fire was responded to from the ground with 24 fire trucks, 6 bulldozers, 3 water tankers, 1 fire engine, 3 other vehicles, and a total of 172 personnel.
BROUGHT UNDER CONTROL
In a statement made by the Çanakkale Governor's Office, it was stated, "The forest fire that occurred in the vicinity of Üzümlü Village in the Bayramiç district has been largely brought under control, and cooling efforts are continuing."
