Saudi-born doctor Talib A. describes himself as an activist in the interview published by the BBC in July 2019, stating that he "helps people like himself who have left Islam with their asylum applications."

Talib A. explains that he created a website for this purpose and that people living in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region, in particular, reach out to him for asylum requests.

ANTI-ISLAMIC

It has been understood that Talib A., who was detained immediately after the attack on a Christmas market in the German city of Magdeburg that left 5 people dead and more than 200 injured, held anti-Islamic, far-right, and pro-Zionist views.

It was stated that the 50-year-old suspect has been living in Germany since 2006, holds a permanent residence permit, works as a physician in the city of Bernburg, and has made posts on his social media accounts "expressing concern about the rise of Islam in Germany."
