China reacts to US visa decision
China has reacted sharply to the US decision to cancel the visas of Chinese students.
Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Mao Ning criticized the US decision to cancel the visas of Chinese students, stating that this step was taken based on ideological and national security grounds.
Mao Ning stated that this decision would seriously violate the rights of Chinese students and negatively affect cultural exchanges between the two countries. Emphasizing that China firmly opposes this situation, the spokesperson also announced that they have been in serious contact with the US regarding this matter.
Mao Ning stated that China's stance on relations with the US is clear, and expressed that they expect the Washington administration to take constructive steps that will contribute to the healthy and stable progress of bilateral relations.
