Criticism from Iran to the US: No lessons learned
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a statement regarding the negotiations held with the US in Islamabad, said, "Iran engaged with the US in good faith to end the war. However, just steps away from the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, we were met with maximalist demands, constantly changing conditions, and a blockade. No lessons have been learned."
Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a statement regarding the negotiations held with the US in Islamabad, the capital of Pakistan.
In a post on his social media account, Araghchi stated, "In the most high-level and intensive talks of the last 47 years, Iran engaged with the US in good faith to end the war.
However, just steps away from the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, we were met with maximalist demands, constantly changing conditions, and a blockade.
No lessons have been learned. Good faith begets good faith. Hostility, on the other hand, begets hostility."
