Damascus administration:

The Syrian-Damascus administration announced that Israel carried out an airstrike on Aleppo Airport in Syria.

In a report based on military sources by the Assad regime's news agency SANA, it was claimed that the Israeli army conducted an airstrike on Aleppo Airport from the west of Latakia at 13:25 local time.

It was alleged that the airport was rendered out of service due to damage to the runway in the attack.

AIRPORTS IN DAMASCUS AND ALEPPO HAD BEEN TARGETED

Israel had carried out an airstrike on a Syrian army headquarters in Daraa, in the south of the country, after midnight, leaving 8 soldiers dead and 7 others injured.

Following the "Al-Aqsa Flood" attack launched by Hamas's armed wing, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, against Israel on October 7, Israeli forces targeted airports in Damascus and Aleppo on October 12, 15, and 21.

Since the civil war began in 2011, Israel has periodically carried out attacks in Syria against Iranian-backed groups and military points belonging to the Syrian army.

Israeli officials generally refrain from commenting on attacks carried out on Syrian territory.

The province of Daraa, located on the Jordanian border in the south of the country, has been under the control of the Syrian army and its supporters since 2018.

THE TRAGIC TOLL IS RISING MOMENT BY MOMENT

The death toll is rising in the Gaza Strip, which Israel has been attacking for 19 days. In a statement made by the Palestinian Ministry of Health, it was reported that 755 more people lost their lives in the last 24 hours due to Israeli attacks, and the total death toll has risen to 6,546, including 2,704 children. It was stated that the number of injured has reached 17,439.

Furthermore, it was noted that 1,600 people, including 900 children, are still under the rubble. It was recorded that 57 health institutions and 25 ambulances were damaged in the attacks, and 73 health personnel lost their lives. It was learned that 12 hospitals and 32 health centers have also been rendered out of service due to attacks or fuel shortages.
It was emphasized that Israeli attacks have intensified in the southern regions of the Gaza Strip.
