Hamas continues excavation efforts to recover bodies of Israeli hostages
Following the ceasefire reached with Israel, Hamas announced that it is working to recover the bodies of hostages who died in underground tunnels due to Israeli attacks, while stating that it lacks the necessary equipment for excavation and that Israel is responsible for this.
Efforts to implement the Peace Plan continue in the Gaza Strip, where the ceasefire between Hamas and Israel remains in effect.
Hamas is continuing its efforts to recover the bodies of hostages who remained buried under rubble in underground tunnels as a result of Israel's intense attacks.
Palestinian sources stated that excavation work is being carried out in many areas, including Khan Yunis, and also reported that Red Cross teams have arrived in the region to monitor the process.
In a statement made by Hamas, it was noted that the lack of necessary equipment for the excavation work and Israel's refusal to send specialized teams to support the efforts are hindering the operations.
Hamas declared that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government are responsible for the failure to provide these resources and for the slowing down of the process.
