Iranian Spokesperson Baghaei: US response is under evaluation
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei stated that the US response to Iran's proposal for ending the war is still under evaluation, adding that "Iranian forces will respond with full force to any aggression or adventurism."
A statement has come from Iran regarding the current status of the negotiation process with the US.
Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei said that the US response to Iran's 14-point proposal to end the war in the region is still in the evaluation phase.
Stating that they will announce their final decisions once this phase is concluded, Baghaei also characterized the military activities carried out by the US last night as a clear violation of international law and the ceasefire between the parties.
Stating that the Iranian Armed Forces have given a harsh response to the enemy with their full power, the Iranian spokesperson said, "We are currently in a state of a so-called ceasefire."
Emphasizing that Iranian forces are on alert and closely monitoring developments, Baghaei said that the Iranian military "will respond with full force to any aggression or adventurism where necessary."
