Iran's missile attack on Israel met with joy in Tehran
Following Iran's missile attack on Israel, Iranians gathered in squares in many cities across the country, primarily in the capital Tehran, to celebrate.
Thousands of people gathered in Palestine Square in the capital Tehran, welcoming Iran's missile attack on Israel with takbirs and demonstrations of joy.

Iranians gathered in the square, carrying Iranian, Palestinian, and Lebanese flags as well as Hezbollah banners, laid flowers in front of a giant poster of Hezbollah Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, who lost his life in Israel's attack on Beirut, and offered sweets to one another.

A fireworks display was also held in the square.

Meanwhile, footage of people celebrating in squares in many cities across the country was broadcast on state television.
