The protesters, who held a sit-in at the US Capitol building to convey their demands for a ceasefire to US lawmakers, frequently chanted "Ceasefire now" and called for an end to the fighting.

THEY HELD A SIT-IN
The protesters stated that they would not leave the Congress until the US Congress calls for a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip. Police intervened against the protesters and attempted to remove them from the Congress building.
