Larijani: Trump has dragged the American people into war with Netanyahu's clownery
Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, stated, "US President Donald Trump has dragged the American people into an unjust war with Iran through the clownery of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In a situation where more than 500 US soldiers have died in these few days, is his slogan still 'America First,' or is it 'Israel First'?"
Ali Larijani, Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, made a statement regarding the joint attacks by the US and Israel against Iran, harshly criticizing US President Donald Trump. In a statement on his social media account, Larijani said, "Trump has dragged the American people into an unjust war with Iran through the clownery of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."
In his statement, Larijani claimed that more than 500 US soldiers had lost their lives as part of the attacks that began on February 28, stating, "Now let him do the math. In a situation where more than 500 US soldiers have died in these few days, is his slogan still 'America First,' or is it 'Israel First'?"
Larijani also addressed the targeting and killing of Iranian Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei at his compound during the US-Israel attacks, declaring, "This is not over. The price for the killing of Khamenei will be heavy for you."
US officials had previously announced that 6 US soldiers had lost their lives in Iran's retaliatory actions against US military assets in various countries in the Gulf region.
