Tensions rise in the Middle East: US strikes Hashd al-Shaabi base
The US has conducted an operation against the Hashd al-Shaabi operating in Iraq. It was announced that 4 members of the Hashd al-Shaabi, including one commander, lost their lives as a result of the operation.
The US continues its operations against the Shiite militia force Hashd al-Shaabi in Iraq.
In a statement made by the Al-Jazeera Operations Command, affiliated with the Iran-backed Hashd al-Shaabi, it was reported that 4 members of the Hashd al-Shaabi, including one commander, lost their lives in an attack carried out by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on the 47th Brigade in Babylon, located south of Baghdad.

The statement, which noted that the attack took place yesterday at 22:00 local time, included the following remarks: "The fact that US forces carried out an attack on the Hashd al-Shaabi forces, who are fulfilling their national and moral duties of ensuring protection and security, shows that their hostile approach still continues."
