Trump: We launched a major attack on Tehran

US President Donald Trump stated that a major attack had been carried out against Tehran, saying, "Many military leaders who have been managing Iran poorly and unwisely, along with many other things, have been eliminated."

US President Donald Trump reported that "many military leaders" were killed in a recent attack on Iran.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump shared footage of the recent attack the US carried out on Iran's capital, Tehran.

The US President wrote under the video post, "Many of Iran's military leaders, who have been managing them poorly and unwisely, along with many other things, were eliminated in this massive attack in Tehran!"

While Trump shared a dark, long-distance image, in one part of the approximately one-minute video, a hilly region was seen briefly illuminated by the impact of a falling bomb, accompanied by the sounds of bombardment.

In another post made hours earlier, Trump had indicated that the time given by the US for Iran to reach an agreement was running out.

Using the expression, "Do you remember that moment when I gave Iran 10 days to either make a deal or open the Strait of Hormuz? Time is running out," Trump had stated that if the Strait of Hormuz was not opened within 48 hours, "doomsday" would be near for the Tehran administration.
