US issues executive order on artificial intelligence: 'Critical information will be shared with the government'
The US administration has issued a comprehensive executive order aimed at preventing risks arising from artificial intelligence.
According to a statement from the White House, the executive order prepared by the order of US President Joe Biden introduces new standards for artificial intelligence safety.
The executive order, which is stated to have been prepared "to protect Americans from the potential risks of artificial intelligence systems," mandates that companies developing AI systems share their safety test results and other critical information with the government.
Under the executive order, agencies are required to set standards for safety testing and address cybersecurity risks.
In order to protect individuals from fraud, new rules are being introduced for the detection and verification of content created with artificial intelligence. In this context, the establishment of an advanced cybersecurity program to find and fix vulnerabilities in software is also targeted.
