US President Trump: Ships are coming here instead of the Strait of Hormuz

US President Donald Trump addressed Republican voters in Florida on Friday, marking his first trip outside the White House since surviving an assassination attempt last week.

During his visit to The Villages, a popular retirement community in Florida, Trump discussed his policies regarding tax cuts for seniors, the elimination of inheritance taxes, and the removal of taxes on tips and overtime pay.

In his speech, where he also touched upon a potential war with Iran, Trump said, "You know, we are in a war because I think you would agree that we cannot allow crazy people to have nuclear weapons."

Trump added, "We cannot allow it. I don't know, maybe I did something stupid or brave, but it was the smart thing to do, and I would do it again." he stated.

Arguing that he had anticipated an Iran war would have a much worse impact on the economy, but that it did not turn out that way, Trump said, "I thought oil prices would rise much higher. But I said, we have no other choice. I have to do the right thing. We cannot let them have nuclear weapons."

Stating that oil prices would drop sharply as soon as the war ends, Trump said, "Iran is taking a heavy hit. They have no navy, no air force, no air defense systems, no radar, no leaders. All their leaders are gone. It's very sad. They were good people." he said.

Arguing that the US is winning, Trump added, "They had a navy of 159 ships. That's a pretty good navy. Within the first week, all 159 ships were hit and are now at the bottom of the sea. Their navy is gone. We are holding talks, and I spoke with them today. Frankly, it's a bit difficult to understand who their leader is. I mean, they have no leaders. The first tier is gone, the second tier is gone. Khamenei is gone. They killed 42,000 protesters in a two-week period." he said.

Regarding negotiations with Iran, Trump said, "They are not yet putting forward the kind of deal we need. We will conclude this the right way. We will not leave early and we will not allow the same problem to arise again in three years."

Speaking about the breakthrough the US has achieved in energy, Trump continued, "It is fortunate that we have this much oil because we are selling a lot of oil now. Ships are now coming here instead of the Strait of Hormuz. Hundreds of ships are coming. They are loading in Texas, Louisiana, and Alaska." he said.

Trump, "Our oil production has doubled. If you add up the production of Saudi Arabia and Russia, we are producing twice as much as they do. Just think about it." he stated.

"We never received any help from NATO"

Stating that he has rebuilt the US military and that the military proved its strength in Venezuela, Trump added, "And right now, we are proving it in Iran." he said.

Trump remarked, "We have never received any help from NATO. Zero. You know, we have spent trillions on NATO, but no help has come. We didn't need it, but it still didn't come. NATO is a paper tiger."
