Armed attack at university in Prague

In an armed attack on the Faculty of Arts at Charles University in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, 10 people lost their lives and 25 others were injured, 9 of them seriously. capital Prague, it has been reported that there are casualties and injuries following an armed attack on the Charles University Faculty of Arts.

INDIVIDUAL NEUTRALIZED

Unidentified individuals carried out an armed attack on the Charles University Faculty of Arts in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. Following the incident, numerous police teams were dispatched to the university. It was reported that there were deaths and injuries in the incident.

In a statement on the social media platform X, the police said, "Based on initial information, we can confirm that there are dead and injured at the scene." The school was evacuated under the escort of security forces following the attack.

The attacker was neutralized by police teams.

11 PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES

Czech Interior Minister Vít Rakušan asked citizens to follow police instructions in an interview with CT24. Rakušan added that he could not provide information about the dead and injured at this stage. Following Rakušan's statements, CT24 announced that at least 11 people, including the attacker, had died.

Prague Medical Rescue Services also shared the latest developments regarding the number of dead and injured in a post on their X account. Stating that 11 people died and at least 24 people were injured, the statement noted that 9 people were seriously injured.
