Bridge collapses at highway construction site! The moment caught on camera

South Korea has been the scene of a disaster-like accident. Three workers lost their lives and five were injured as a result of the collapse of a highway bridge currently under construction.

According to information obtained from local authorities, the incident occurred around 09:50 local time near the city of Cheonan, approximately 80 kilometers south of Seoul.

The bridge, which is located on the Seoul-Sejong Highway and is still under construction, collapsed after 5 support beams, each 50 meters high, gave way.

Eight workers who were at the construction site during the incident were trapped under the collapsed bridge, and a large number of search and rescue and medical teams were dispatched to the area.

Investigations revealed that 3 workers lost their lives, while 5 workers were injured. An investigation has been launched to determine the exact cause of the accident.
