Wedding season had begun: Fireworks ban to remain in effect until 2025

A notable step has been taken in India regarding fireworks, which are being called for a ban worldwide on the grounds that they cause air pollution, harm birds, and frighten pets and babies.

AIM IS TO PREVENT ENVIRONMENTAL POLLUTION

According to a report in the newspaper Hindustan Times, Delhi State Environment Minister Gopal Rai announced that the production, sale, and use of all types of fireworks have been banned until January 1, 2025, in order to control air pollution in the capital.

Stating that relevant units will act in coordination to ensure the strict enforcement of the ban, Rai said, "We must all take responsibility together to control pollution. If every Delhi resident becomes a pollution warrior and takes the lead in protecting the environment, we can save people from the dangers of pollution."
