Zelenskyy's stern message ahead of Trump meeting
Speaking ahead of his critical summit with US President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that Russia should not be rewarded in any way for its role in the war.
The world's eyes are turned toward the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the White House. Ahead of the summit, Zelenskyy sent striking messages to the international public.
“PUTIN IS EXERTING PRESSURE THROUGH SPECTACULAR MURDERS”
Sharing on his social media account, the Ukrainian leader stated that Russia is sabotaging the diplomatic process and used the following expressions:
“Putin will commit spectacular murders to maintain pressure on Ukraine and Europe and to undermine diplomatic efforts. Russia must absolutely not be rewarded for its participation in this war, regardless of the outcome.”
CLAIMS OF CRIMEA AND NATO BARGAINING
According to reports in the US press, it has been suggested that Trump may ask Zelenskyy to take a step back on two critical issues during the meeting. According to the claims, the first of these will be to abandon Crimea, which Russia annexed in 2014, and the second will be to withdraw Ukraine's request for NATO membership.
