Ministers, organizations, local governments... Will 'change' in the AKP accelerate after the Ayhan Bora Kaplan case?

Gazete Pencere columnist Nuray Babacan pointed to the expectation of change within the AKP, which has been fueled by the uncertainty surrounding the Ayhan Bora Kaplan case following the 'change' messages that began after the local elections were concluded. 

'SMALL-SCALE' CHANGE

Babacan stated, "While there are those who argue that the change President and AKP Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan is alleged to be making during the congress process will be brought forward, there are also those who express that Erdoğan 'will not act under pressure and will first see the truth of the matter.' Those who claim that the change is accelerating suggest that Erdoğan will go for a 'small-scale' change in both the cabinet and the headquarters without waiting for the congress."

"Naturally, the first name they mention is Minister Ali Yerlikaya. In addition to this, it is alleged that there may be changes regarding the Ministers of Agriculture, Labor, and Health. Since they have already started, it is also being discussed that there will be an operation in the headquarters staff who will lead the party to the congress. It is explained that the head of election affairs, the head of organization, the head of local governments, and the secretary-general at the headquarters are also in the mix.
