Transfer completed at CarrefourSA: 89.28% stake passes to Yeni Mağazacılık under Aydın Grup
Following legal approvals, 89.28% of CarrefourSA shares have been transferred to Yeni Mağazacılık; the company has entered a new era.
The process regarding the transfer of 89.28% of the shares representing the capital of CarrefourSA to Yeni Mağazacılık, a subsidiary of Aydın Grup, has been completed. The transfer process was officially finalized following the receipt of necessary legal approvals, including those from the Competition Authority.
It was reported that under the new structure, CarrefourSA and A101 will continue their operations independently under different management structures while maintaining their own brand identities. According to the statement made by the company, Hatice Evren will serve as the CEO of CarrefourSA.
With the transfer, it was stated that the goal is to strengthen CarrefourSA's financial structure, improve customer experience, deepen relationships with business partners, and increase the company's contribution to the economy.
NEW ERA GOALS
Aydın Grup Board Member Erhan Bostan stated in his assessment of the new era, "Today we are turning a new page." Bostan expressed that they aim to take bolder steps with the company's strengthened financial structure, offer a better shopping experience in stores, and create a structure that supports growth together with suppliers.
Stating that one of CarrefourSA's strengths is its fresh, high-quality, and rich product variety, Bostan noted that they aim to spread this structure across Turkey. Bostan said the company plans to reach consumers in every province of Turkey and at more locations, and to develop accessibility and quality together.
According to the information shared by the company, CarrefourSA operates with 1,237 stores in 77 provinces and 9 thousand 599 employees. The company's store network, which has a total sales area of 528 thousand 261 square meters, consists of 19 hypermarkets, 259 supermarkets, 57 gourmet markets, 268 mini markets, 2 professional markets, and 632 franchises.
It was also reported that CarrefourSA reached 300 million customers through its online and physical channels in 2025 and hosted an average of 10.5 million digital visitors per month.
