In a statement made on his social media account, Minister Yerlikaya said, "It has been determined by our Ankara Police Department that the individual known as 'Hz. Ebu Cehil', one of the administrators of the group named C31K, which is active on the Telegram and Discord social media platforms, is a child named E.K., and he has been taken into protective custody by our Zile District Police Department teams under the coordination of our Ankara Police Department. The individual known as 'Arda Bateman' has been identified as a child named A.T. and has been taken into protective custody by our Istanbul Police Department. Their statements will be taken by the Public Prosecutor in the presence of a psychologist."

Minister Yerlikaya stated, "We will show no mercy to those who try to poison our society, especially our children and youth, who are the apple of our eye, with their deviant ideas on social media.

We have a score to settle with bullies who force our children into sexual abuse, and with those who harbor tendencies toward violence against women and spread malice and hatred.

No matter which hole in the cyber world you hide in, our cyber patrols will find you one by one and deliver you to justice. I want our noble nation to know that our fight against criminal hubs prone to crimes such as violence against women and sexual abuse will continue in every field.

We do not have a single child, young person, or human being to lose to drug dealers and deviant ideological movements. As the Ministry of Interior, we exist with our 600 thousand personnel to ensure peace and security. We will not take a step back from this."
