Ankara Police Department issues 'YKS' warning to drivers
The Ankara Police Department has warned drivers not to park their vehicles in areas expected to experience heavy traffic due to the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS).
In an announcement shared on the Provincial Police Department's social media account, it was reminded that the YKS will be held tomorrow and on Sunday, June 9, at 10:15 AM.
For this reason, it was stated that a large number of students will be arriving at exam centers located in the Beşevler area, Muammer Yaşar Bostancı Street, Abant Street, the Gazi University Rectorate entrance, Milas, Bandırma, and Taç streets, as well as the vicinity of the Konya Road Mevlana Boulevard, and a warning was issued to take into account the pedestrian and vehicle traffic in the region.
The announcement stated that in order to avoid any negative situations, it would be appropriate for drivers to park their vehicles on Silahtar Street and side streets outside of the specified avenues and streets.
