ANK-AR general election poll: Latest status in the race between AKP and YENİ Party revealed

ANK-AR Research has announced the results of its Voter Agenda Poll for the September 2026 period. In the study, where participants were asked, "If there were a general election tomorrow, which party would you vote for?", the parties' vote shares were shared separately both before and after the distribution of undecided voters.

VOTE SHARES BEFORE THE DISTRIBUTION OF UNDECIDED VOTERS

In this section of the poll, the vote shares of other parties were ranked as follows:

AKP: 21.9%

YENİ Party: 19.7%

İYİ Party: 8.5%

DEM Party: 6.7%

MHP: 5.4%

Zafer Party: 2.6%

Yeniden Refah Party: 2.5%

Anahtar Party: 2.5%

CHP: 2.1%

Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP): 1.7%

While 10.9% of those participating in the research stated that they would not vote, 9.2% expressed that they were undecided. 3.5% of the participants said they had no opinion or did not want to answer, while 1.7% said they would cast a protest vote. The total rate for these groups was calculated as 25.3%.

VOTE SHARES AFTER THE DISTRIBUTION OF UNDECIDED VOTERS

After the distribution of undecided voters and those who did not state a preference, the results were ranked as follows:

AKP: 29.3%

YENİ Party: 26.4%

İYİ Party: 11.3%

DEM Party: 9%

MHP: 7.2%

Zafer Party: 3.4%

Yeniden Refah Party: 3.4%

Anahtar Party: 3.3%

CHP: 2.8%

Workers' Party of Turkey (TİP): 2.3%

Other: 1.5%

MARGIN OF ERROR ASSESSMENT FROM ANK-AR

ANK-AR Research stated that the 2.9-point gap between the AKP and the YENİ Party remains within the poll's margin of error. In the company's assessment, it was emphasized that the race between the two parties is close and that approximately one-quarter of the electorate has not yet stated their party preference.

Former AKP deputy Şamil Tayyar also recently claimed in a statement that his party had lost approximately 6 points in the polls due to a funding crisis.
