CHP Spokesperson Deniz Yücel: 'No political party's collapse has ever been this tragic'
CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel reacted sharply to the government's statements on the 'boycott,' emphasizing how the opposition's legitimate and freedom-oriented steps disturb AKP politicians, leading them to resort to censorship, threats, and insults.
CHP Deputy Chairman and Party Spokesperson Deniz Yücel, in response to the 'boycott' statements made by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, RTÜK President Ebubekir Şahin, and the TRT General Manager, stated: 'Every legitimate and freedom-oriented step taken by the opposition drives AKP politicians and appointees into a frenzy. Those who cling to censorship, bans, and threats of investigation to cover up their injustices and lawlessness are now resorting to insults to hide their helplessness. No political party's collapse has ever been this tragic...'
Yücel's post on his social media account is as follows:
'One minister comes out and dares to call millions an "angry minority," then goes on TRT and gives instructions, saying, "This boycott will not be followed."
The RTÜK President comes out and says, "Television stations will be fined again"...
The TRT General Manager threatens actors, screenwriters, and producers...
Some are touring empty stores and shops to film advertisements, sending the message, "Go shopping."
Every legitimate and freedom-oriented step taken by the opposition drives AKP politicians and appointees into a frenzy.
Those who cling to censorship, bans, and threats of investigation to cover up their injustices and lawlessness are now resorting to insults to hide their helplessness.
No political party's collapse has ever been this tragic....
