Coastal Safety announces: Pilot who fell into the sea has died
The General Directorate of Coastal Safety has announced that Pilot Oğuz Kök has died after falling into the sea during a transfer while boarding a ship to provide pilotage services at the southern entrance of the Bosphorus.
The General Directorate of Coastal Safety announced in a post on its X account that Pilot Oğuz Kök, who fell into the sea, has died.

"This morning, our Pilot Oğuz KÖK, who fell into the sea during a transfer while boarding a ship to provide pilotage services at the southern entrance of the Bosphorus, has passed away. We wish God's mercy upon our maritime martyr, and patience to his grieving family, loved ones, and the maritime community."
