Criminal complaint filed against 'Midyeci Ahmet' by his ex-wife Deniz Çelebi

Business owner Ahmet Çiçek, known as "Midyeci Ahmet," has recently been in the spotlight due to his statements about marriage and a marriage proposal he made to his girlfriend. This time, Çiçek has come to public attention due to a criminal complaint filed by his ex-wife, Deniz Çelebi, with the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

The complaint petition states that Deniz Çelebi and Ahmet Çiçek divorced by mutual agreement in 2021 and that custody of their two children was granted to Çelebi. The petition alleges that Çiçek's social media posts have spread rapidly among the children's school and social circles.

According to reports by Sabah, the application claims that the children's schoolmates have been sending them images belonging to their father, and that they have been subjected to peer bullying based on these images.

In her statement, Deniz Çelebi noted that the matter is not "any adult's private life," and demanded that her children's peace, psychological well-being, and future be protected. Çelebi stated, "I will not remain silent for my children. Their peace, psychological well-being, and future come before everything else."

MARRIAGE CALL AND PROPOSAL HAD MADE HEADLINES

Midyeci Ahmet, who has branches in many cities across Turkey, announced on his social media account in recent months that he wanted to get married. The 46-year-old Çiçek shared the criteria he was looking for in a potential spouse, saying, "I want family life."

Çiçek had stated that he wanted a partner who could travel with him, and who loved seafood, stuffed mussels (midye dolma), animals, and village life. He also expressed that he wanted to build a life with someone who enjoys traveling, having fun, eating, and children.

Çiçek, who has more than 1 million followers on social media, later posted the moments he proposed to his girlfriend without revealing her identity. The video, which Çiçek captioned, "Every moment I am by your side, I said here is my woman, I love you my darling," received numerous likes and congratulatory messages in a short time.
