Doctor sexually assaults patient under anesthesia

In a private hospital located in Bağcılar, Istanbul, it is alleged that a doctor sexually assaulted a patient under anesthesia. The incident was noticed by a nurse who entered the room and reported it to the police; the doctor was taken into custody and subsequently ordered to be arrested.

According to a report by Tugay Saday for Star Haber, it is claimed that the doctor sexually assaulted a 30-year-old foreign national female patient who had been taken to a private room to rest following cosmetic surgery. It is stated that the doctor sent the nurse who was in the room out when he entered, and then sexually harassed the young woman.

While the patient, who was under the influence of anesthesia, was unable to resist, the nurse who witnessed the events immediately reported the situation to the police. The doctor was taken into custody following the intervention of police teams. The suspect doctor, who refused to give a statement at the police station, was referred to the courthouse. Following investigations by the prosecutor's office, the doctor was ordered to be arrested in line with the statements of the victim and the nurse.
