FETÖ statement from MHP's Özdemir: Legal processes that will concern Turkey's agenda will be initiated soon
İsmail Özdemir, Deputy Chairman of the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) and Member of Parliament for Kayseri, stated that the fight against FETÖ in Kayseri has not reached the desired level, adding that important legal processes that will closely concern Turkey's agenda will begin in the coming period. Özdemir said, "It will be seen how many names that are held in high regard today actually and truly betrayed the homeland."
Stating that FETÖ has long viewed Kayseri as an important center and target area, MHP Deputy Chairman and Kayseri MP İsmail Özdemir said, "For FETÖ, Kayseri is one of the primary centers and target areas. Unfortunately, it is not possible to say that successful results have been achieved in Kayseri in terms of fighting this dark structure. There are still circles that have infiltrated many institutions and think they have made themselves forgotten. Some ongoing legal investigations also point to this situation."
Emphasizing that certain networks of relationships and personal agendas have harmed the fight, Özdemir said, "Some close relationship networks have harmed the efforts to cleanse our city of FETÖ, its extensions, and its affiliates. The continuation of a 'us-versus-them' mentality and ego-driven approaches have been among the primary developments negatively affecting this struggle. As the Nationalist Movement Party, we have always stood against these initiatives."
Özdemir stated that providing references by various circles to individuals who have infiltrated certain non-governmental organizations and the judiciary, and who have been recorded by relevant judicial bodies due to their FETÖ affiliation, harms both Kayseri and Turkey.
"Processes that will affect Turkey's agenda are beginning"
Expressing that important legal processes that the public will follow closely will begin soon, Özdemir said, "Some important legal processes that will concern Turkey's agenda will be initiated soon."
Özdemir continued his remarks as follows:
"For FETÖ, Kayseri is one of the primary centers and target areas. Unfortunately, it is not possible to say that successful results have been achieved in Kayseri in terms of fighting this dark structure. There are still circles that have infiltrated many institutions and think they have made themselves forgotten.
Some ongoing legal investigations point to this situation. Furthermore, some close relationship networks have harmed the efforts to cleanse our city of FETÖ, its extensions, and its affiliates. The continuation of a 'us-versus-them' mentality and ego-driven approaches have been among the other developments harming these efforts. As the Nationalist Movement Party, we have always stood against these initiatives.
In particular, the presentation of so-called references to individuals who have infiltrated certain non-governmental organizations and the judiciary, and who have even been coded by relevant judicial bodies due to their FETÖ affiliation, ultimately harms Kayseri and Turkey.
Some important legal processes that will concern Turkey's agenda will be initiated soon. With these developments, where our state will show that it keeps its legal reflexes alive against all actions that FETÖ thinks have been covered up, it will be seen how many names that are held in high regard today actually and truly betrayed the homeland. Our effort and endeavor are for those who act with personal ambition and greed to see the great negligence and error they have fallen into while the truths come to light."
