Fugitive FETÖ convict former police chief captured
In Adana, a former 4th-grade police chief, who had a finalized prison sentence of 6 years and 3 months for being a member of the Fethullahist Terrorist Organization (FETÖ), has been captured.
The Provincial Police Department's Counter-Terrorism Branch teams continue their efforts to apprehend individuals wanted for FETÖ membership.
HE HAD A FINALIZED 6-YEAR SENTENCE
Within this scope, it was determined that Yusuf Lerik, a former 4th-grade police chief who had a finalized prison sentence of 6 years and 3 months for membership in the organization, was in the Belediye Evleri neighborhood of the central Çukurova district.

CAUGHT WHILE WALKING ON THE STREET!
The teams conducting the operation apprehended the former police chief, who is a FETÖ convict, while he was walking on the street.
Yusuf Lerik was sent to prison following the completion of his processing.
