Hayko Cepkin arrives at courthouse to testify in 'Ahbap' investigation: Reacts harshly to journalists

Rock musician Hayko Cepkin arrived at the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan to give a statement as part of the "Ahbap Criminal Organization" investigation conducted by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.

Encountering questions from members of the press at the courthouse entrance, Cepkin reacted harshly to journalists regarding questions about why he was summoned to testify.

In a brief statement made there, Cepkin used insulting language toward the press members, saying, "Hello, phone call, 'Mr. Hayko, we will consult your information.' Blow everything out of proportion, for God's sake, with your absurd news. You do nothing but pollute the environment."

It was previously stated that journalist Uğur Dündar, artist and director Mahsun Kırmızıgül, singer and actress Gülben Ergen, and actress Elçin Sangu had also given statements as part of the investigation.

An assessment regarding the investigation is expected following the completion of Cepkin's testimony at the prosecutor's office.
