Stating that individuals appointed during the Albayrak era may have subsequently abused their trust, Sayan argued that responsibility should be placed on those who committed the alleged irregularities, not on those who trusted them. Sayan called for an investigation into whether there is a link between the circles mentioned in the fund crisis and those who wanted to remove Berat Albayrak from office.
SAYAN'S EMPHASIS ON BERAT ALBAYRAK
AKP member Savcı Sayan, who has remained in the spotlight with his statements regarding the fund investigation, focused on former Treasury and Finance Minister Berat Albayrak in his latest social media post. Titling his post 'Berat Albayrak, Brutuses, and the true face of betrayal,' Sayan stated that the most painful aspect of betrayal is that it comes not from enemies, but from people who were trusted.
Recounting that the late Deniz Baykal often told them, 'Never forget that you always have a 20 percent betrayal quota around you,' Sayan noted that he has been asking serious questions about the fund and stock market crisis for days, while some circles have tried to shift the discussion by claiming that the people he is questioning were appointed during the Berat Albayrak era.
“DO NOT HOLD THE ONE WHO TRUSTED RESPONSIBLE, BUT THE ONE WHO ABUSED THE TRUST”
Arguing that the responsibility of those who abuse a person's trust cannot be placed on those who trusted them, Sayan recalled how some figures once trusted by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan acted during the July 15 process.
Sayan stated, 'Loading the traitor's crime onto the shoulders of the person who trusted them is the most insidious way to whitewash betrayal.' Noting that Berat Albayrak fought for energy independence and took on heavy responsibilities in economic management, Sayan also reacted to criticisms targeting the former minister.
IS THERE A LINK BETWEEN THE FUND CRISIS AND THOSE WHO WANTED TO REMOVE ALBAYRAK?
The most striking part of Sayan's post was his call to establish a connection between the fund investigation and Berat Albayrak's past political position.
Sayan asked, 'What kind of relationship exists between the circles that wanted to remove Mr. Berat Albayrak from the side of our President and the circles mentioned in the fund crisis today?' Arguing that this connection should be investigated, Sayan stated that individuals who came to office during the Albayrak era might have later abused their trust, and that the responsibility for this cannot be placed on the former minister.
Stating that Albayrak's father, Sadık Albayrak, fought for the values he believed in and paid the price in the past, Sayan used very harsh language in his remarks regarding the family.
“YOU CANNOT ATTRIBUTE BRUTUS'S DAGGER TO CAESAR”
Emphasizing in the final part of his post that those responsible for the fund and stock market crisis must be uncovered, Sayan said, 'Which conscience, which justice allows for blaming the one who left the door open while ignoring the one who committed the theft?'
Addressing those who target Berat Albayrak, Sayan stated that the fact that some people were appointed during the Albayrak era does not mean that the wrongs they are alleged to have committed later belong to the former minister.
Sayan concluded his statement with these words:
“You cannot attribute Brutus's dagger to Caesar.
Remember: If there are those who steal the sweat, savings, and the future of this nation's children, they will be held accountable. If there are those who protect them, they will also be held accountable.
And no one will be able to use the name of Berat Albayrak, our President, or any other statesman as a screen to hide the real culprits.”
BERAT ALBAYRAK, BRUTUSES, AND THE TRUE FACE OF BETRAYAL. Just as every leader has loyal friends by their side, there can also be Brutuses who will stab them in the back when they find the opportunity. The most painful aspect of betrayal is that it comes not from the enemy, but from the person trusted. Because you know where the enemy stands. But betrayal often comes from people you eat at the same table with, walk the same path with, and believe will protect you when you turn your back. The late Deniz Baykal often told us in our private conversations: 'Never forget that you always have a 20 percent betrayal quota around you.' For days, I have been asking very serious questions about the fund and stock market crisis. Some simpletons call me and try to take the matter elsewhere by explaining that the people I am asking about were appointed during Mr. Berat Albayrak's term. And I ask them: Is the crime of someone who abuses a person's trust in the one who trusted them, or in the one who betrayed that trust? A leader certainly chooses their colleagues. They trust them and give them authority. However, if those people later use their positions for personal gain, those who committed that betrayal must be the first to account for it. Didn't we see what people whom our President trusted for years did on July 15? Are we going to blame our President now for this betrayal? Loading the traitor's crime onto the shoulders of the person who trusted them is the most insidious way to whitewash betrayal. Let's come to Mr. Berat Albayrak... Berat Albayrak is a statesman who has fought for this country's energy independence, taken on heavy responsibilities in economic management, and has been the target of international pressure and political attacks. If we were to write for days about Turkey's gold issue abroad, the attacks on Turkey through the gold reserves of states, and the resistance Mr. Berat Albayrak showed against these attacks, it might not be enough to explain. I specifically want the answer to this question to be investigated: What kind of relationship exists between the circles that wanted to remove Mr. Berat Albayrak from the side of our President and the circles mentioned in the fund crisis today? This connection must be pursued. It must be investigated. Mr. Berat Albayrak is the son of Sadık Albayrak. Sadık Albayrak is a person who fought for the values he believed in during Turkey's most difficult periods, faced pressure, paid prices, and served time in prison. We are talking about the child of a father who was willing to pay the price for his faith, thoughts, and struggle. The upbringing received by Sadık Albayrak's children does not resemble the upbringing of a cat that throws the tray when it sees a mouse. Their upbringing is not a behavior learned later for show, but a moral understanding gained in the family hearth. Everyone takes after their nobility... In the essence of Mr. Sadık Albayrak's family, there is loyalty to the homeland, sweat, faith, and struggle. Reaching for what is forbidden, eating the rights of others, and betraying the nation do not stick to this family. Some may have been appointed during Mr. Berat Albayrak's term and later abused the trust placed in them. In such a situation, what needs to be done is not to condemn the person who trusted, but to hold those who abused the trust accountable. Today, I ask the same question regarding the fund and stock market crisis: Which conscience, which justice allows for blaming the one who left the door open while ignoring the one who committed the theft? The responsibility of those who actually committed the crime can in no way be shifted onto others. Today, I am telling those who target Mr. Berat Albayrak: The fact that some people were appointed during Mr. Berat's term does not mean that the wrongs they are alleged to have committed later belong to Mr. Berat Albayrak. You cannot attribute Brutus's dagger to Caesar. Remember: If there are those who steal the sweat, savings, and the future of this nation's children, they will be held accountable. If there are those who protect them, they will also be held accountable. And no one will be able to use the name of Berat Albayrak, our President, or any other statesman as a screen to hide the real culprits.

SAYAN'S PREVIOUS OUTBURSTS REGARDING THE FUND CRISIS
Savcı Sayan had also recently come to the agenda with the questions he directed at BRSA President Şahap Kavcıoğlu within the scope of the fund investigation. In a post he made on October 30, Sayan asked Kavcıoğlu whether 20 billion TL in funding was requested from businessman Emre Tezmen to save Pusula Holding and Katılımevim, and whether a 35 billion TL loan promise was made through Takasbank in return.
The BRSA, on the other hand, described the allegations as 'entirely baseless' and announced that legal proceedings would be initiated.
In his new questions directed at Kavcıoğlu on October 31, Sayan demanded that the content of the meetings on September 9 and 11 be disclosed, and on November 1, he announced that new questions would follow by bringing topics such as İktisat Katılım Bankası, Pusula's closed funds, Katılımevim-Birevim connections, and Muhammed Yarız to the agenda.
Sayan's posts also created controversy within the AKP; MKYK member Mücahit Yanılmaz criticized Sayan and warned that his posts could harm the process being carried out by President Erdoğan. In his response to the criticisms, Sayan argued that the solution to the fund crisis was to take the money from whoever took it and distribute it to the victims down to the last penny.
