Bad news for Özgür Özel from Metropoll survey! Major loss for YENİ Party, increase for AKP

Metropoll Research compared political party vote shares for the July and October 2026 periods. In the study, where undecided, non-responsive, and protest votes were proportionally distributed, the change in voter support for the parties was examined.

According to the research results, while some parties experienced an increase in their vote shares, others saw a decline. The most striking change in the three-month period was recorded in the YENİ Party's vote share.

YENİ PARTY'S VOTE SHARE DROPPED BY 14.20 POINTS!

The YENİ Party, which was at the top of the research in July with a 39.20 percent vote share, fell to 25 percent in October.

Having lost 14.20 points over the three-month period, the YENİ Party became the party with the largest drop in vote share in the study. With this decline, the party fell to second place in the October results.

AKP INCREASED ITS VOTE AND TOOK THE TOP SPOT!

The AKP's vote share, measured at 28.98 percent in July, rose to 31.90 percent in October.

Recording a 2.92-point increase over the three-month period, the AKP thus placed first in the October results of the research.

3.61-POINT INCREASE IN DEM PARTY'S VOTE SHARE

The DEM Party's vote share, which was 6.99 percent in July, rose to the 10.60 percent level in October.

Recording a 3.61-point rise over the three-month period, the DEM Party ranked third in the October results of the research.

İYİ PARTY'S VOTE SHARE ROSE TO 8.50 PERCENT

The İYİ Party increased its vote share from 5.05 percent in July to 8.50 percent in October.

According to the research, the party achieved a 3.45-point increase over the three-month period and placed fourth in the October rankings.

MHP ROSE BY 1.94 POINTS IN THREE MONTHS

The MHP's vote share, determined as 4.66 percent in July, reached 6.60 percent in October.

According to Metropoll Research data, the party's vote share showed a 1.94-point increase in the July-October period.

DECLINE RECORDED IN CHP'S VOTE SHARE

The CHP's vote share, measured at 3.75 percent in July, fell to the 3.50 percent level in October.

Thus, a 0.25-point drop was experienced in the party's vote share over the three-month period.

YENİDEN REFAH PARTY INCREASED ITS VOTE

The Yeniden Refah Party's (YRP) vote share, which was 2.20 percent in July, rose to 3.40 percent in October.

The party increased its vote share by 1.20 points over the three-month period.

ANAHTAR PARTY'S VOTE SHARE BECAME 3.20 PERCENT

The Anahtar Party's vote share, measured at 1.68 percent in July, rose to 3.20 percent in October.

According to the research results, a 1.52-point rise was recorded in the party's vote share over the three-month period.

VOTE LOSS EXPERIENCED IN ZAFER PARTY

The Zafer Party's vote share, which was 3.36 percent in July, fell to 2.90 percent in October.

Accordingly, the party's vote share decreased by 0.46 points over the three-month period.

VOTE SHARES OF TİP AND SAADET PARTY INCREASED

The Workers' Party of Turkey's (TİP) vote share, which was 1.55 percent in July, rose to the 2 percent level in October. Thus, a 0.45-point increase occurred in the party's vote share.

The Saadet Party's vote share also rose from 1.29 percent to 1.40 percent in the same period. The rise in the party's vote share was recorded as 0.11 points.

DECLINE IN THE TOTAL VOTE SHARE OF OTHER PARTIES

Metropoll Research also compared the total vote share of other political parties based on July and October.

The total vote share of other parties, measured at 1.68 percent in July, fell to 1 percent in October. A 0.68-point drop was experienced in this category over the three-month period.
