Illegal migrant operation: 10 people apprehended
In the Muradiye district of Van, 10 irregular migrants were apprehended and 1 suspect was arrested.
According to a statement made on the District Governorate's social media account, teams from the District Gendarmerie Command carried out operations aimed at preventing migrant smuggling.
In this context, gendarmerie teams searching a minibus they stopped on suspicion during patrol activities apprehended 10 irregular migrants.
ONE ARREST
The suspect, R.G., who was taken into custody, was arrested by the criminal judgeship of peace following the completion of legal procedures.
