Illegal structure demolished in Adaboğazı
In the Bodrum district of Muğla, an illegal structure built in a region designated as a natural protected area and a "strictly protected sensitive area" was demolished under security measures. A brief tension occurred in the area, which teams reached by boat, before the structure was torn down with sledgehammers.
The Bodrum District Governorate's National Real Estate Directorate took action upon receiving information that there was an illegal structure in the Adaboğazı area, which is protected as a natural site and a strictly protected sensitive area.
Directorate officials and the Bodrum Municipality demolition team traveled to the area by boat, accompanied by municipal police and police officers.
A brief argument occurred between the owner of the illegal structure, who was served the demolition order, and the officials.
The teams demolished the illegal structure with sledgehammers and removed the trash and belongings from the area.
