Kılıçdaroğlu's convention message! He gave instructions to provincial chairs

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, who was brought to the CHP Chairmanship following a decision of absolute nullity, met with 81 provincial chairs for the first time at the CHP Headquarters. Addressing the provincial chairs, Kılıçdaroğlu said that the party must focus on solving Turkey's problems.

Stating that the CHP is not an ordinary party, Kılıçdaroğlu emphasized that it is the founding party of the Republic. Kılıçdaroğlu expressed that the CHP must defend the principles of merit, law, and justice in state administration without polarizing citizens.

"POLITICS IS NOT A MEANS OF ENRICHMENT"

Stating that politics should not be turned into a field for personal gain, Kılıçdaroğlu expressed that the CHP's primary goal is to produce solutions to the problems of citizens.

Kılıçdaroğlu stated that politics must be built on trust and called on provincial chairs to leave their offices and establish direct contact with tradespeople, workers, retirees, and different segments of society.

"THE STATE IS NOT THE PROPERTY OF ONE PERSON"

Stating that the state is not the property of any individual, party, or group, Kılıçdaroğlu noted that they are against one-man rule. He stated that under a CHP government, merit, law, justice, and competence in public administration will be the basis.

Kılıçdaroğlu also said that it is necessary to fight against gangs, drug barons, and those who misuse public resources.

"DO NOT ENGAGE IN PETTY DEBATES"

Kılıçdaroğlu warned provincial chairs against potential debates with individuals who have left the CHP.

"I want one more thing from you. Do not ever engage in a debate with those who have left the Republican People's Party. Our concern is different; do not ever enter into petty debates. Never be a party to such a debate. We set out not for petty debates, but to solve the problems of our own country. If they tell us 'He says this, he says that,' we will say let them say whatever they want. As the Republican People's Party, we will not be a part of petty debates. While the country has so many problems, we will try to solve these problems."

"WE WILL MAKE PRIMARIES MANDATORY"

Announcing that party organs will convene before the Ordinary Convention, Kılıçdaroğlu said that a charter amendment will be made and primaries will be made mandatory.

While stating that party policies must be explained in the field by the organizations, Kılıçdaroğlu noted that members of parliament will defend these policies in Parliament, and mayors will implement the determined policies in local governments.

"WE WILL HOLD A MAGNIFICENT CONVENTION IN THE COMING PERIOD"

Touching on the importance of clean politics, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that the CHP must return to the values of its founding period and used the following expressions:

"We will hold a magnificent convention in the coming period. We will return the Republican People's Party to the moral codes of its founding. You have a duty: You are the provincial chairs who will restore the Republican People's Party to its moral codes. You are so valuable, I don't know if you realize it, but the duty you have undertaken is the duty of returning the Republican People's Party to its founding codes. You have undertaken such a valuable duty. Therefore, wherever you go, you will speak of morality, virtue, wisdom, and beauty."

FOREIGN POLICY AND "TERROR-FREE TURKEY" MESSAGE

Speaking about foreign policy and the second opening process called "Terror-Free Turkey," Kılıçdaroğlu said that special meetings could be held within the party if necessary and expressed that Turkey must strengthen its position as a regional power.

Stating that Turkey needs peace and tranquility, Kılıçdaroğlu said that party policies on these issues could be addressed in more detail in the coming period.

At the end of his speech, Kılıçdaroğlu stated that the CHP will work to produce solutions to Turkey's problems in different areas and criticized the government's practices in economy and public administration. Kılıçdaroğlu expressed that they will follow up on allegations of corruption and misuse of public resources.
