Five of the 14 people detained as part of the concert investigation launched into the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality have been arrested.

While pro-government media outlets claim that the operations will expand, it has been learned that Melih Gökçek and his family have been stating that a second wave of operations will begin soon.

Speaking on the matter, Ankara Metropolitan Municipality (ABB) Mayor Mansur Yavaş stated, "The Gökçek family just won't stop talking. They are going around talking as if it's a victory. They say a second wave will start soon. They are claiming that the number of suspects will exceed 30, starting with Mansur Yavaş's chief of staff. We shall see."

Highlights from Yavaş's statements are as follows:

"It has emerged that an employee mentioned in the file received money from those companies. An individual who was not on the suspect list went to Beyaz TV 10 days ago and wanted to benefit from effective remorse. It is clear who is directing the operation. This person is currently free. A person whose crime was confirmed by a MASAK report is free, while people against whom nothing was found in the report are under arrest. There is no such thing as justice like this.

During the Gökçek era, no one could be detained. Not even statements could be taken. Justice must be applied equally to everyone.

They won't stop talking, they are talking left and right; let's see who will direct the operation. The Gökçek family says, 'There will be a second operation soon, and people, including Mansur Yavaş, will be detained.' Let's see.
