Meteorology and AKOM announce temperatures will drop: Date given for rain
The General Directorate of Meteorology (MGM) shared its weekly weather forecast for June 10-16 on its social media account.
According to the General Directorate of Meteorology's (MGM) weekly weather forecast for June 10-16, air temperatures will begin to drop starting from the northwestern parts on Saturday. Additionally, AKOM expects precipitation in Istanbul on Saturday, June 13, Sunday, June 14, and Monday, June 15.
MGM's forecast stated, "Air temperatures, which will remain above seasonal norms across the country, are expected to decrease starting from the northwestern parts on Saturday."
According to the map shared by MGM, precipitation is expected in most of the country on Saturday, June 13, and Sunday, June 14.
In the forecast shared by the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IBB) Disaster Coordination Center (AKOM), precipitation is expected in the city on Saturday, June 13, Sunday, June 14, and Monday, June 15.
According to AKOM's forecast, precipitation amounts are expected to be between 3-7 kilograms on Saturday and Sunday, and between 5-12 kilograms on Monday.
