MHP's Yönter speaks on Chairman Bahçeli's health: 'A thousand times thank God'
MHP Deputy Chairman İzzet Ulvi Yönter stated, "We believe that the terrorist organization will convene its congress and dissolve itself in a very short time; we are expecting this. We expect the requirements of the February 27 Imralı call to be fulfilled. We evaluate this as being of historical importance for our common future, our independence, our national existence, and our flag and banner that will never fall." Yönter also spoke about the health status of MHP Chairman Bahçeli.
Yönter visited the Ramadan tent set up by his party's Pendik district organization in Kurtköy and broke his fast with party members.
Speaking to members of the press after the iftar program, Yönter said that Pendik has a special place for his party.
Stating that MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli called him on the way, Yönter said, "Our esteemed Chairman conveyed his very best regards, affection, and wishes for success to our citizens in Pendik and to our fellow party members."
Stating, "As the People's Alliance, we are determined regarding the revival and construction of the Turkish and Turkey Century," Yönter said the following:
"We are currently moving forward on our path in a straightforward manner, in a spirit of mobilization, sincerely, honestly, bravely, and decisively, without getting caught up in minor disputes, without succumbing to perception operations, and without paying attention to the game plans that have been set up or are being played. As the People's Alliance, we are determined, seeking, and aiming to save our nation from all kinds of problems and to solve these problems, and we will succeed in this. We will build a Turkey without terrorism together. Our esteemed Chairman's efforts and our President's work are in this direction."
Expressing that the Turkish nation is united and will now overcome its ill-fated destiny, Yönter said, "The Turkish nation will now be saved from a massive calamity. This calamity is the calamity of terrorism. We are, God willing, removing the calamity of terrorism from our lives permanently and fundamentally. We will achieve this together."
Stating that the fight against terrorism will continue decisively, Yönter continued as follows:
"We believe that the terrorist organization will convene its congress and dissolve itself in a very short time; we are expecting this. We expect the requirements of the February 27 Imralı call to be fulfilled. We evaluate this as being of historical importance for our common future, our independence, our national existence, and our flag and banner that will never fall. Kurds and Turks are brothers; Alevis and Sunnis are brothers. Whoever tries to come between them is an unpaid provocateur and spy for the imperialists. It is understood that there is an opposition party that is terrified, disturbed, unable to stomach, jealous, and frightened by Turkey's climate of peace, tranquility, and brotherhood. The Republican People's Party cannot digest Turkey's salvation from terrorism and cannot stomach it. Certain circles that feed on terrorism and make a living from separatism cannot tolerate Turkey's magnificent rise, the awakening of the giant, and this spirit of unity, solidarity, and brotherhood."
"We want to eliminate threats and dangers"
İzzet Ulvi Yönter stated that they would protect national unity and make it stronger day by day, adding that President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Devlet Bahçeli are working hand in hand to struggle to eliminate a historical problem of Turkey.
Stating that their duty is to follow in their footsteps with determined steps, Yönter said, "We do not want to see any traps, trenches, or unnamed minefields laid out before us. We want to eliminate threats and dangers."
Yönter expressed that the nation does not pay attention to those who gossip and stir up trouble here and there, pushing them aside with the back of their hand, and said, "They are in another world. They are trapped in a daily and very narrow agenda. As the Nationalist Movement Party, we do not take them seriously. The Republican People's Party must respect Turkey's peace, existence, future, the founding principles of the Republic of Turkey, the founding spirit, and the legacy of the dear Atatürk. They should support Turkey's liberation from terrorism, the solution to the terror problem, that is, a terror-free Turkey, in a sincere, honest, and straightforward manner, not just in words but in essence."
Emphasizing unity, solidarity, and brotherhood, Yönter said, "Turks and Kurds are like flesh and nail. Turks and Kurds are equal, honorable, and dignified members of one nation. Kurds and Turks have formed and created the Turkish nation. There is no compromise on the Turkish nation, no compromise on our Turkish language. There is no compromise on Turkish identity. The Republic of Turkey will exist, and the memories of the dear Atatürk will live on. We are true lovers of Atatürk who keep the dear Atatürk alive in our souls, who will keep him alive in our souls, and who embrace him with everything. We are the nationalist, idealist movement. We are Turkish nationalists and the People's Alliance."
BAHÇELİ'S HEALTH STATUS
In response to a journalist's question about the state of Bahçeli's health, Yönter replied, "A thousand thanks to God, our Chairman is extremely well. We believe that he will begin his work as soon as possible. Thank God, a thousand thanks to God, we have no problems."
Congratulating the citizens he chatted with after the iftar program on the month of Ramadan, Yönter distributed candy apples to the children.
