Minister Çiftçi makes statement regarding illegal betting operation

Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi evaluated the illegal betting and virtual gambling operation conducted by the İzmir Chief Public Prosecutor's Office. Thanking the security forces and judicial authorities involved in the operation, Çiftçi touched upon the importance of inter-institutional coordination.

WE WILL NOT GIVE WAY TO VIRTUAL GAMBLING BARONS AND BETTING GANGS

Stating that the fight against illegal betting and virtual gambling activities will continue, Minister Çiftçi used the following expressions regarding the matter:

"We will never give way to virtual gambling barons and betting gangs that target our youth and family structure. Our fight for the peace of our country will continue uninterruptedly, shoulder to shoulder and with determination."

EMPHASIS ON HARMONY BETWEEN THE TWO MINISTRIES

Drawing attention to the joint will between institutions in the fight against crime, Çiftçi noted that the two ministries are acting in line with a common goal. Çiftçi said, "Against these dirty structures that eye the sweat of our nation; our Ministries of Justice and Interior are acting in the same direction, shoulder to shoulder and in full harmony."

Minister Çiftçi also conveyed his thanks to Minister of Justice Akın Gürlek and the judiciary community for their support in the process.
